Why can't I personalize my plate?

There may be several reasons why you can't get your plate personalized, including:

  • Temporary plate: Temp plates cannot be personalized. However, once you've received and have gone through the process to update your temp plate to your permanent number, your Reviver app should give you access to customize your digital plate.
  • Subscription out of date: In order to personalize your digital plate, you must be up to date on your subscription payments. If you aren't sure, please feel free to reach out, and we'll help you get caught up.
  • App not connecting to your plate: Follow the instructions here, and reach out for help if you still have an issue.
  • Some states do not currently allow for banner messages to be displayed. Here is the current list of plate customization options by state.
