RFleet Registration Renewal Process
The RFleet dashboard can be used to streamline registration renewal for each of the vehicles within your fleet. On the Vehicle tab within the Manage section of RFleet, you can see at a glance which vehicles have current registration, are due soon, or are past due. Simply select the vehicles that require action and select the renew button at the top of the screen. You can also select individual vehicles to renew, one at a time.
Upon successful renewal of registration, the Registration Status will be updated to show current registration. The vehicle’s RPlate display will also be automatically refreshed to display the current registration status.
Some aspects of renewal are different, state by state
- Arizona: Users can see when registration is due. If emissions testing is required, users are informed they must pass the emissions test before they are permitted to view fees and pay renewal. Upon successfully passing the emissions test, users are permitted to return and complete renewal.
- California: Users are alerted when a SMOG test is required in order to finalize renewal. However, users are permitted to pay fees before SMOG testing is completed. Once payment is received, successful passage of the SMOG test completes the renewal process.
- Michigan: Currently, users can see on the vehicle list when registration is due. However, payment must be completed directly with Michigan's Secretary of State’s office.
- For all states: The due date is updated automatically upon successful renewal.
