A smartphone is not required to interact with your RPlate--but it is recommended. The mobile app provides access to several additional features and makes processes more efficient. Specifically, you will need to email a picture of your metal plate and registration to support@reviver.com as part of the installation process—whereas the app prompts you through each step of the process, making it as easy as possible to get started with your RPlate.
Additionally, without a smart device with Bluetooth enabled, RPlate Battery users may experience slower updates that take up to 7 Days via LTE. These limitations do not apply to RPlate Wired users, as they are updated via LTE more frequently.
