What is the general flow of a sale?

  • Step 1: Sell the RPLATE through the RCONNECT Dashboard 
    • Sell as ‘Pre-Installed’ if the plate is already pre-installed via the dashboard to the correct vehicle. 
    • Sell as ‘Add-On’ if the plate is not pre-installed, or if you need to uninstall the plate from a different vehicle first. 
    • Sell as ‘Retail’ if not being sold with a vehicle. 
  • Step 2: Physically Install the RPLATE 
    • Make sure to properly install the RPLATE before initiating download of the License Plate Image. 
    • Use the provided screws in Bag A to connect the Bracket to the Vehicle. 
    • Make sure RPLATE is flush against the bracket (and sensor). 
  • Step 3: Download the License Plate Image 
    • Press and hold the ‘Home’ button (oval button, bottom right corner) for 4 seconds. 
    • The message ‘Downloading Image’ will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen. This can take from 30 seconds to 4 minutes. Make sure to wait to allow for the full download. 
    • Pressing for less than 4 seconds will not do anything and holding for 10 or more seconds will reboot the plate (will see a data screen with a QR Code, then the default image). Make sure to count out 4 seconds, potentially do 5 seconds if needed. 
  • Step 4: Customer has Activated their account 
    • Sign Up: Click the "sign up" button in the invitation email sent by REVIVER to create a password. 
    • Download and Sign In: Head back to the email and click "app store" icon to download and launch the REVIVER app on your phone. Sign in using your newly created password and email. 
  • Step 5: Connect to Bluetooth 
    • Follow the prompts on the app to connect your phone to the Bluetooth of the license plate. 
    • Click ‘Home’ Button once (do not press and hold). 
    • Wait 10-15 seconds for the Bluetooth Icon to appear on the bottom left of RPLATE. 
    • When you see the Bluetooth icon, click: Ready to Install  >  Done > Start Pairing 
    • Select pair to the device when prompted and keep app open and next to the RPLATE for 30-90 seconds until "data downloading" disappears from RPLATE.
