What are the different Button presses/actions?

Understand what each button press does based on the plate’s activation status—and avoid common mistakes.
💡 The actual button is the oval-shaped Home button on the bottom right of the plate. Do not confuse it with the round rubber grommets covering the screw holes.
🛠️ Any Time – Pre & Post Sale
Action | Press Type | Function |
---|---|---|
Reboot Plate | Press & hold for 10 seconds | Restarts the plate. The data screen with QR code will briefly appear before the Reviver logo returns. Useful for minor issues. |
🔴 Factory Reset (Use With Caution) | Press & hold both the front Home button and the rear pinhole button for 10 seconds | Fully wipes and resets the plate. Use when:

Important notes:
- The plate must be removed from the vehicle and any bracket detached to access the back button.

The rear pinhole button is located directly on the flip-side of the front button and is very small—you’ll need a paperclip or pen tip.

After holding both buttons, the screen will flash and finish with the Reviver logo, confirming a successful reset.
🔧 Pre-Sale Mode
Plates that have not yet been sold and are still in 'Dealership Mode'.

✅ Post-Sale Mode
Plates that have been sold and ownership has been transferred to the customer.

Enable Bluetooth Pairing | Quick 1-second press | Activates Bluetooth icon for mobile pairing. Only works if the plate is already activated. |
Call Home / Sync | Double quick press | Only functions once the plate is activated and assigned to a vehicle. |
