How do I Install an RPLATE? [Virtual Preinstall in Dashboard]

To install the RPLATE, there are 2 types of Installation. The physical install and the digital install. 

Digital Installation: (Dealerships Only): 

  • If a plate is being installed through the Dashboard, we are moving the RPLATE into the ‘Pre-Installed’ state so that it can be sold with the vehicle at a later date or demonstrate some of the marketing images available in the Dashboard. 
  • Doing this also tells our system where the RPLATE is located (on which VIN). 
  • After the plate has been Physically installed on the vehicle, click on the ‘Install RPLATE’ button. 
  • Select the correct SN (make sure to use the one listed on the back of the plate). 
  • Enter the Vehicle Information starting with the VIN. Click tab, this will usually autofill the other Vehicle related info. 
  • Enter the Stock Number and Installer Rep Name. Click Next. 
  • Select the appropriate image for the plate (Marketing or Dealer Plate image). 
  • Click Submit. 

If you encounter any errors here, make sure a different RPLATE is not already installed through the Dashboard to this VIN. You may need to Uninstall this other RPLATE SN first before Installing the new SN.
