How do I create and apply a Dealer Plate image?

If you would like to add Dealer Plates, click the dropdown menu [top right corner] and select Display Images. 

Note: This is only applicable to dealership accounts. If you have the install/uninstall RPLATE buttons, you have a dealership account. 

To create a Dealer Plate: 

  • Click the ‘+’ next to Dealer Plates to expand the section. 
  • Review the already added Dealer Plates listed here, making sure the plate hasn’t already been created. 
  • Click the Blue ‘Add Plate’. 
    • Select the Appropriate State. 
    • Enter the License Plate Number. 
    • Enter the Expiration Date. 
    • Enter the Identification Number. 
    • Click Submit. 
    • Ex: Say this is a Dealer Plate you would like to enter: 
      • State = CA 
      • Plate = 12345 
      • ID = 1A 
      • Exp = Oct 2025 

How to apply a Dealer Plate: 

  • Dealer Plate images can only be applied to pre-installed RPLATEs. 
  • Make sure that the RPLATE you would like this image on has been pre-installed through the Dashboard first. 
  • To change the image to the Dealer Plate, navigate to the Pre-Installed RPLATEs (can be accessed by clicking on the number of preinstalled plates on the main dashboard or by Viewing RPLATE list and filtering to Installed). 
  • Using either the SN or the VIN, use this in the search bar to identify the plate image to change. 
  • Hover over the currently displayed image, it will say Update. Click on it. 
  • Select the ‘Dealer Plates’ option at the top of the popup window. 
  • Select the appropriate Dealer Plate number. 
    • Dealer Plates can only be utilized on 1 Vehicle/Plate at a time, only the available Dealer Plates Numbers will be shown here. 
  • You can customize the image (Dark Mode) or even edit the Expiration dates to make sure they are current in this view. 
  • Click Apply. 
  • On the physical RPLATE, make sure to do the 4 second press and hold to download the new image. This image update can take up to 4 minutes to display.
